You’ve probably heard the old saying from Benjamin Franklin, “In this world nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes.”
This sentiment was echoed in 1936 by Margaret Mitchell in her famous book Gone with the Wind. “Death, taxes and childbirth! There’s never any convenient time for any of them.”
It would seem many agree that death and taxes must occur.
But HIGH taxes are not inevitable!
In his book, A Voluntary Tax, George Cooper explains that careful planning can minimize taxes you are obligated to pay.
Many wealthy people plan for their taxes by working with someone skilled in income, capital gains and estate tax reduction. They pay their fair share, never more.
Tax evasion is illegal. Careful tax planning is 100% legitimate and within your ability and rights!
Perhaps, ole’ Ben Franklin was wrong. Maybe taxes—at least high ones—aren’t inevitable after all!
